Recently, a case came to light that seems straight out of a movie or even a TV series.
Actor Alex Araya was found dead after using the dating app Tinder.
According to information from El Tiempo, the 42-year-old actor arrived in Medellín, Colombia, to enjoy his vacation.
However, it wasn’t until seven days later that his body was found in the apartment he rented through Airbnb.
Alex Araya Had Contact with Two Women Before Dying
Originally, Alex Araya planned to stay in Medellín, Colombia, until Tuesday, June 11. During his stay, he began arranging intimate encounters with women through Tinder. Alex entered the apartment with two women around midnight on Thursday, June 6. Two hours later, only the women left the place.
Eduardo Araya, his brother, claimed that these two women took the actor’s cards and phone.
Using Alex Araya’s phone, they took Uber rides, as reported by El Tiempo.
«We realized that more people are involved, that they were part of a group that does these things,» Eduardo commented.
Additionally, the two women used the card to make various purchases, including at a jewelry store.
In an interview with La Tercera, Eduardo revealed that his brother was left naked on the bed, face down.
«There were no signs of violence from others, but the truth is there is very little clarity about what happened,» he said.
According to the family, it appears that the two women were responsible for Alex Araya’s death.
Until his death, the causes of which have not been confirmed, Alex participated in the podcast Poder Hormiga, according to Univisión.
