  • Alvin Manuel Alvarez, 30, is wanted in Houston on two counts of sexual abuse of minors.
  • The indictment against Alvarez details that the man abused his victims from 2017 to 2019.
  • Alvarez has a Harris County criminal record charged with theft of construction tools.

Alvin Manuel Alvarez has a couple of

arrest warrants in Houston, Texas, for being allegedly responsible for sexual abuse of minors.

Fugitive Alvarez, 30, is wanted by the Special Victims Division of the Houston Police Department (HPD).

According to the arrest warrant against Alvarez, consulted by MundoHispánico in Texas, the man is charged with the felony count of continued sexual abuse of minors.

The charges against Alvarez are contained before Judge Jesse McClure III of the 339th Criminal District Court in Harris County.

However, due to the seriousness of the charges, Judge McClure III determined that to protect the identity of the victims, the documents that reveal the details of the case should not be made available for public consultation.

According to the arrest warrant against Alvin Manuel Alvarez, the man continuously sexually abused two girls between March 2017 and September 2019 in a house located on Beatty Street in South Houston.

The two victims testified before HPD’s Special Victims Division agents that Alvarez allegedly committed his abuses repeatedly.

The investigation does not detail the relationship that Alvin Manuel Alvarez had with his alleged victims.

However, the arrest warrant against Alvarez states that the man had his residence on the same street where he allegedly committed the abuses.

The arrest warrant against the man details that Alvin Manuel Alvarez is not a citizen of the United States although it is not revealed where he is from. Nor is it specified what their immigration status is.

The fugitive is 5 feet 9 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes, slim build, and weighs approximately 150 pounds. The two crimes you face are considered serious.

Alvin Manuel Alvarez is already known to Texas authorities since Harris County criminal records show an arrest for the crime of robbery on his record.

On April 13, 2012 agents of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO, for its acronym in English) arrested Alvarez on charges of stealing two pressure hammers and two industrial pliers.

A person whom we will identify in this story as LV, in order to avoid retaliation, accused Alvin Manuel Alvarez of the theft of industrial equipment used in construction and valued his tools for less than $ 500.

Because the theft that Alvin Manuel Alvarez was charged with was not very expensive equipment, Judge Tonya Jones of the 15th Criminal District Court in Harris County classified the crime as a misdemeanor.

Alvarez was sentenced to repair the damage to LV and to spend 3 three days in detention in the Harris County jail. The investigation does not specify the personal or professional relationship between the accused and the victim.

The HPD asks the Hispanic community that if anyone knows the true whereabouts of Alvin Manuel Alvarez, contact the non-profit organization Houston Crime Stoppers at 713.222.8477. All leads will be kept anonymous and there is a reward of up to $ 5,000 to whoever delivers the lead leading to the arrest of the fugitive.

According to Texas State Penal Code The crime of sexual abuse of minors is a crime that is considered serious and the person faces a sentence of 2 to 20 years in prison for whoever is found guilty of that crime.

Sexual abuse of minors is some of the most harshly prosecuted crimes by judges and often carries severe penalties.

According to statistics from the nonprofit organization Texas Children’s Advocacy Center (CACTX) in the state, an average of 70,000 cases of sexual abuse are confirmed per year.

The CACTX details that 1 in 4 girls will be sexually abused before the age of 18 and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday.
