During the anti-ICE protest, several agitators were seen burning a U.S. flag in front of the federal building.
Shouts and insults were also heard over a megaphone as the group voiced its opposition to the actions of ICE.

Most protesters left the area after several hours without major incidents.
However, a smaller group chose to remain and continue the confrontation.
That group was identified by Fox News as being organized by the group Atrévete a Luchar.
It was after the majority departed that the main clash with law enforcement occurred.
Agents present were wearing riot gear and formed a line in front of the remaining protesters.
Chants continued as agents appeared to order the crowd to move back.

Footage from the anti-ICE protest shows agents forcing a protester down the steps of the federal building.
Tensions escalated as minutes passed.
At one point, an orange traffic cone was seen rolling toward the plaza in front of the building.
Shortly afterward, agents began firing crowd-control munitions while advancing toward the crowd.
During this moment, one individual ran toward agents as they attempted to detain another protester.
That person was struck in the eye by a so-called non-lethal projectile.
The Department of Homeland Security reported that two federal agents were injured during the anti-ICE riots.
Authorities did not provide further details regarding the severity of the agents’ injuries.

The agitator holding the megaphone was identified by his family as Kaden Rummler, 21.
Rummler was struck in the eye by a crowd-control munition as agents attempted to disperse the group.
Video shows Rummler collapsing to the ground after the impact.
Agents then restrained him and dragged him into the federal building, where he was arrested.

According to his aunt, Jeri Rees, Rummler lost sight in his left eye as a result of the incident.
She stated that he underwent six hours of surgery while doctors attempted to remove fragments of the projectile.
Rees said doctors are still determining the composition of the fragments embedded in his body and whether additional procedures will be required.
Rummler was released from the hospital later that same Tuesday, according to his family.
Rees also said the young man suffered skull fractures in addition to the eye injury.
“He is completely blind” in his left eye, she said. “There is a hole in the eyeball.”
Authorities reported that Rummler was charged with disorderly conduct.
At least one other agitator was charged with assault on a federal officer.
So far, no additional official details have been released regarding further charges or the legal status of those detained, as the anti-ICE protest in California confrontation continues to be investigated.
