A spokesperson for former President Joe Biden denied today that he had any knowledge of his prostate cancer while serving in the Oval Office.

The statement comes after former President Donald Trump suggested that Biden may have concealed his diagnosis.

Biden, 82, was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer with bone metastases.

His office confirmed on Sunday that he is currently reviewing treatment options after receiving the diagnosis last Friday.

Urologist Dr. Shusterman called it “unheard of” for someone with Biden’s level of medical care to be unaware of having prostate cancer for five to ten years. “It was a cover-up. Biden is TERMINAL,” he claimed.

“It’s highly unlikely someone could undergo annual checkups and not know,” said Shusterman in a video widely shared on social media.

Biden’s spokesperson clarified that the last known PSA (prostate-specific antigen) test the president underwent was in 2014.

According to the spokesperson, prior to last Friday, Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

PSA is a protein produced by both healthy and cancerous prostate tissue, according to the EFE news agency.

Its levels are commonly measured through blood tests to detect prostate cancer.

However, other conditions—such as inflammation or prostate enlargement—can also raise PSA levels, complicating the interpretation of results.

Biden’s diagnosis has raised questions about why the cancer wasn’t detected earlier, especially since the former president underwent multiple medical exams during his time in office.

At a recent event at the White House, Trump questioned the lack of public information regarding his predecessor’s illness, implying that key details may have been withheld.

“Why did it take so long? It can take years to reach that level of danger,” said Trump, who also called the situation “very sad” and expressed sympathy for Biden. “I think people should try to find out what happened,” he added.

Trump’s Statements

Trump connected the delay in disclosure to previous medical reports that had deemed the Democrat cognitively fit for office—an assessment he has long disputed.

In his remarks, Trump referenced Walter Reed Medical Center, where Biden has undergone his annual checkups, and suggested that the public is not being told the whole story.

“I think someone is going to have to talk to his doctor, whether it’s the same one or different ones,” Trump said, suggesting that the silence around the diagnosis is not “politically correct” and poses a “danger to our country.”

Biden’s spokesperson, however, reiterated that the former president was never informed of the diagnosis during his tenure in the White House.
