The entertainment world is in mourning over the death of actor and photographer Brad Everett Young, who died on Monday, September 15, at age 46.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor lost his life due to severe injuries from a traffic accident in Los Angeles.

The collision occurred on the night of Sunday, September 14, on the 134 Freeway.

Young’s vehicle was struck by another car traveling in the opposite direction.

The information was confirmed days later by his publicist, Paul Christensen, in comments to USA TODAY on Thursday, September 18.
