The incident occurred when a guest—reportedly the groom’s brother according to local reports—arrived at the reception carrying an automatic firearm.
The man got off a motorcycle and fired into the air as part of a festive tradition.
The strong recoil of the weapon caused a bullet to veer off and strike the groom in the chest.
