The bullies mocked Colt by calling him “gay” and subjected him to unwanted touching, which intensified his isolation and despair.
«He was trying to join the golf team. They’d say, ‘Look, Colt is gay,’ ‘He’s dating that guy.’ They ridiculed him day after day,» Colin Gray revealed.

These revelations have caused widespread shock, especially considering that Colt was a minor who was allegedly a victim of a situation that experts warn can have severe psychological consequences if not addressed early on.
In a state of emotional distress, Colt reportedly threatened on the platform Discord to carry out a shooting at his school.

This threat alerted the FBI, which visited the young boy’s home and spoke with his father.
During the investigation, Colin Gray admitted that Colt had access to firearms in their home, a critical aspect of the ongoing investigation.
Colin had taught his son how to handle rifles and had even given him an AR-15, the same rifle Colt allegedly used to carry out the attack.
On the fateful day of September 5, Colt entered the school armed, opening fire on students and teachers.

The tragedy left four people dead and nine others injured.
Authorities reported that the young boy surrendered without resistance when confronted by a school officer, confessing to his role in the attack.
Colin Gray also faces serious charges, including involuntary manslaughter, which could result in a prison sentence of up to 180 years.
Meanwhile, Colt, now in custody, faces the possibility of life in prison.
