«I’m a little overwhelmed by the exposure of these things. We know that the word sounds very terrible,» she said about the disease she was diagnosed with.

The initial information about this event came to light through journalist Cecilia Gutiérrez, who announced the news on her podcast «Bombastic,» with Nicolás’s authorization.
According to the journalist’s disclosure, Daniela Nicolás was diagnosed with cervical cancer, specifically carcinoma in situ.
Gutiérrez explained that the communicator still didn’t feel ready to share her testimony publicly but wanted the information to be handled in the best possible way.
«She’s still not ready to tell her story or give her testimony, but she does want it to be known in the best way. Therefore, she authorized me and also provided me with details of her process,» Gutiérrez stated.
