According to the Universidad Latina de América (UNLA), LGBTQ+ tourism is a new trend in travel.
It is a sector that is continuously growing and even contributes more to the economy than conventional tourism.
Travelers want to feel safe while they’re on vacation. In other words, they are looking for destinations where there is little to no discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
We have five LGBTQ-friendly vacation destinations from Madrid to San Francisco.
Amsterdam is one of the most progressive countries in the world

First, we begin this list with Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
It is probably the most progressive country when it comes to inclusivity. Quite an achievement.
In 2000, they legalized same-sex marriage, but this was only the beginning.
Amsterdam’s Gay Pride celebration is one of the most popular in all of Europe. Almost half a million people attend this event.
Buenos Aires is an LGBTQ-friendly vacation spot

Next, Buenos Aires, Argentina is perfect for LGBTQ+ tourism.
The Gay and Lesbian International Travel Association (GLITA) named it the Best International Gay Destination in 2006 and 2008.
The Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was formed some time ago, which brings together LGBTQ+ businesses and companies.
The British LGBT Awards selects the best gay destination worldwide each year. Who will win next year? We’ll have to stay tuned.
San Francisco has one of the largest LGBTQ+ populations in the country

When LGBTQ-friendly vacation destinations, San Francisco, California undoubtedly comes to mind.
Its population is at the forefront of the fight for gay rights in the United States. The Castro District is renowned for being one of the best ‘gayborhoods’ in the world.
San Francisco is also home to Pink Triangle Park, a monument that honors gay victims of the Holocaust.
In addition, the United States’ first LGBTQ+ history museum is located in San Francisco.
Puerto Vallarta is a true paradise
