Despite being liked by many for avoiding conflicts, others criticized him for not doing much. He finally gave his first interview upon leaving the house.

In an interview with Jimena Gállego, the former athlete added that the person who disappointed him the most was Maripily Rivera.

La Melaza, shocked by being expelled?

The former baseball player, who has a criminal record for assaulting his wife, said that the person who disappointed him the most in the reality show was Maripily.

«I didn’t expect her to be the way she is, and I don’t know why she’s still in the competition,» he said, referring to the conflicts the businesswoman has had with all the housemates.

He also expressed his viewpoint on the rift in the last few days with Alana Literas, his close friend.

Despite this, many people believed that La Melaza used the ‘Top Chef’ winner solely to cook for him.

In the last few days, La Melaza, Lupillo, and Aleska have come under fire for their treatment of Alana after she cooked for them for four months.

Criticism quickly arose because the trio did not offer Alana dinner or breakfast following what they perceived as ‘betrayal’.

«I always told her that if she had a problem with anyone in the house, she should come and talk about it… I know that in the last few days, she was leaning towards the fourth fire,» he expressed.

«I feel that was a betrayal when we never treated her like that,» he asserted.

In the final week of broadcasts, things have gotten intense for Aleska, being labeled as ‘two-faced’ and called out by everyone.

But for La Melaza, the blonde ex-girlfriend of Nicky Jam is someone with ‘beautiful feelings’, and he supports her to win.

«She lets herself be carried away by her feelings, that’s why she’s always fighting with Maripily. She shouldn’t pay attention to what they’re saying, she should continue being herself. I love her very much,» he emphasized.
