Miguel de la Mora, a well-known stylist to the stars in Mexico, was shot dead in Mexico City.
The attack happened on the afternoon of September 29, outside his beauty salon in Polanco.
According to the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), two men on a motorcycle arrived at the scene.
One of them got off and shot directly at the 28-year-old, killing him instantly.

Authorities confirmed that the first investigative steps are already being taken to clarify the crime.
“The corresponding investigations are underway, including the analysis of surveillance cameras in the area,” reported the SSC.

The attack occurred on Moliere Street, near the corner with Presidente Masaryk, one of the capital’s most exclusive areas.
So far, neither the motive for the murder nor the attackers’ identities have been revealed.

Miguel de la Mora, also known as “Micky,” styled the hair of artists such as Ángela Aguilar and Kenia OS.
Among his clients was also María Fernanda Beltrán, Mexico’s representative at Miss Universe 2024.
His reputation made him one of the country’s most sought-after stylists despite his young age.
“It wasn’t easy to book an appointment with him,” some of his clients shared after hearing the news.
A Rising Career
Miguel de la Mora managed two beauty salons: one in Guadalajara and another in Polanco.
He worked in Jalisco during the first half of each month and returned to the capital in the second.
The cost of his hair extensions could reach up to 100,000 pesos, according to clients.
The young stylist also had a strong social media presence, with over 170,000 Instagram followers.
An Entrepreneur with Vision
Through his @micky_hair account, he regularly shared his work and lifestyle.
He had recently launched a giveaway with influencer Priscila Escoto.
“The best Brazilian hair,” he wrote on social media while promoting the contest to his followers.
His online activity allowed him to consolidate a personal brand in the competitive beauty industry.
