In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Angélica Vale shared that she had lost her beloved dog Lety.

The actress bid a final farewell to her dog, named after her character in La Fea Más Bella.

«My Lety… my companion of 12 years just went to a better place… I will love you always! Thank you for your love!» she wrote.

Just a few days earlier, she suffered another loss.

Elvira Castilla dies at the age of 100

At the beginning of August 2020, Angélica Vale appeared on Televisa’s Hoy to announce sad news.

Her paternal grandmother, Elvira Castilla Herrera, had died at the age of 100.

«It hurt me more because I didn’t have as close a relationship with her as I would have liked, it was a different relationship,» she said.

Finally, the actress and comedian said she felt a lot of regret for not taking advantage of their time together.

Angélica Vale is grieving her father too

Angélica Vale is also grieving a more devastating loss — her father, Raúl Vale.

A few months shy of turning 60, the actor and singer died of lung cancer on December 7, 2003, in Houston, Texas.

Many people remember this excellent impersonator, not so much for his talent but for being unfaithful to Angélica María.

In an interview with Yordi Rosado for his YouTube channel, ‘La Vale’ opened her heart and shared revealing details about her father.

During this conversation, Angélica Vale revealed that her father, Raúl Vale, worked like crazy because he had shows every day.

«And he would arrive very late in the early morning, around five in the morning because, apart from that, he liked to party, so he stayed after the show,» she said.

On another occasion, the actress who has just turned 48, made a shocking confession on social media.

«My dad smoked, and that’s how he left me. I miss him. I miss him every day of my life.»

A tough blow for ‘La Vale’

On October 26, 1996, at the age of 72,  film and television producer Angélica Ortiz, Angélica Vale’s maternal grandmother, passed away.

This death adds to the losses the comedian and impersonator has suffered throughout her life.

According to El Universal, Ortiz practically raised Angélica in the absence of her parents.

«My grandmother allowed me to have a spectacular childhood… It was total overflowing love, and so did my mom,» she told Yordi Rosado.
