On July 4th, 1969, something strange happened at a ranch near Bogotá, Colombia. This is the case of Arcesio Bermúdez and his sudden death.

That night, thirteen people, including ten children and three adults, saw something incredible in the sky. They saw a bright object, similar to a large plate, descending from the sky.

The object hovered in the air, silently, and was very close to them. Arcesio Bermúdez, the ranch caretaker, decided to approach the bright object. However, when he did, the object moved slightly further away.

Arcesio Bermúdez Dies

Bermúdez stood very close to the object, and everyone watched him. Then, after a while, the object flew away quickly and fade into the sky.

What’s most puzzling is that Arcesio felt really sick after approaching the object. The next day, he was very ill, and sadly, he passed away a few days later.

No one knows exactly why. Some think it might have been due to an illness or an insect bite, but others believe it was because of the bright object.

This ranch mystery is popular because nobody truly knows what the bright object was and why Arsenio died.

Life in the Universe

Germán tells this story and points out the importance of learning more about UFOs and space.

Scientists study stars, planets, and the possibility of life elsewhere. For instance, there’s a mission set to explore Mars to check for signs of life there.
