It is noted that Castro had a call scheduled for eight in the morning. However, he never made it after suffering a fall down the stairs.

During the fall, the actor managed only to call the woman who works at his home, seeking help.

On the afternoon of Monday, September 11, multiple media outlets reported the passing of Benito Castro earlier that day.

It was one of his nephews who stepped forward to confirm the circumstances that led to his sudden demise.

The actor wasn’t suffering from any illness; rather, a tragic accident took his life.

Michelle Castro shared that he had fallen down the stairs, breaking his ribs and ultimately puncturing a lung.

Following the death of the renowned Mexican actor, his tearful daughter recounted his final moments.

«This morning, he was scheduled to be at Televisa at 8. The accident happened around 7:30 am. I got there before the ambulance,» shared Débora Castro.

«Mrs. Paty, who has been assisting us all our lives, found him. My dad managed to call Paty after his fall. She was in shock,» added the actor’s daughter.

These statements were reported by Grupo Imagen Televisión. Débora mentioned that Paty promptly informed her, and she quickly reached her father’s house.

Benito Castro’s Last Words

Débora mentioned that she reached the residence before the ambulance, only to be met with a horrifying scene that left her deeply shaken.

«When I got to where my father was, the sight was terrifying due to the amount of blood,» she said.

«I saw him. The shock hit me hard, but my dad was still conscious. We didn’t talk much because he was in so much pain,» Débora explained.

«He even said to me: ‘Contact ANDA. Reach out to Televisa,’ because he was concerned about not making it to the recording,» she recounted, tears in her eyes.

He died in the hospital

After the trauma Benito Castro experienced, he was taken to a hospital in the Roma neighborhood for medical treatment.

However, it was Débora Castro herself who confirmed that her father’s condition worsened rapidly.

She stated that the primary issue was the fractured ribs and the extensive damage they inflicted.

She further mentioned that the severity of the injuries impacted the actor more significantly due to his age being a contributing factor.

Daughter did not separate from him

“We arrived at the hospital and his condition deteriorated rapidly. The main issue was the ribs,» Débora shared in her statements.

«He suffered a severe impact, and given his age, it didn’t help the situation. He lost a significant amount of blood, which led to a drop in his blood pressure, and he couldn’t hold on any longer,» the renowned actor’s daughter explained.

«I never left his side,» Benito Castro’s daughter admitted to the media, tears evident on her face.
