A Light

They stopped for a better look and the light approached. Continuing on their way, the light kept following them.

The light came closer and closer. They stopped again and, with binoculars, saw something like a UFO with windows.

They felt beings were watching them from inside. Although they were scared, they kept driving. But the UFO kept following them.

They saw figures that looked like soldiers in shiny black uniforms.

Erased Memories

Barney wanted to use his gun, but Betty convinced him to flee in the car. Later, they realized they couldn’t remember what happened until they got home.

They arrived home frightened and with parts of the story forgotten. Betty had nightmares about it.

Two days later, Betty called the Air Force to tell them, but she didn’t say everything because she was afraid they would call her crazy.

People from the Blue Book project spoke to them and thought their story was important.

The Hills Try to Contact the UFO

Later, Betty and Barney Hill shared their story and a doctor hypnotized them to remember more.

They spoke of small beings, medical exams, and an important star map from the Zeta Reticuli constellation.

Years later, they tried to contact the UFO again but couldn’t. Vane died in 1969 and Betty in 2004. Their story became very famous and was featured in movies and TV shows.
