The survey carried out by the WPA showed that, of the 1,571 registered voters polled, Biden, 80 years old has 47% of the popular vote, compared to Donald Trump, 76, with 40%. Likewise, they showed that Biden defeated him by 4.5 percentage points in the 2020 popular vote.
Are Republicans on the rise?

The WPA poll also found that Democrats are declining in popularity compared toRepublicans, who have two main contenders for president in 2024. Governor Ron DeSantis is likely to face off against Donald Trump in the primary.

A bad year for Biden?

The poll also found that 46% of voters approve and 54% of voters disapprove the job the president is doing, with 42% strongly disapproving, according to the New York Post. However, only 39% have a positive view of Biden.

Is Biden still in the game?

WPA principal Amanda Iovino, stated that the data shows how in the last year Joe Biden recovered a bit of the popularity he had been losing since his election. Likewise, she pointed out that Donald Trump continues to weaken since the 2020 election.
“It is clear from the data that Trump’s position with independents has weakened considerably since the 2020 election and that he has failed to attract new voters. This should not surprise anyone, as it is entirely consistent with last year’s election results among Trump-backed candidates in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia and other states,» she noted.
