One of the most discussed cases is that of political analyst Matthew Dowd.
MSNBC decided to part ways with him after he suggested that Kirk’s assassination was linked to his polarizing style of discourse.

As a result, the agent was immediately removed from his position.

Delta Airlines did the same with an employee who published similar remarks on social media.
In education, a high school teacher in Clay County, Florida, was suspended after making controversial references to Kirk’s past statements.

DC Comics canceled its newly launched Red Hood series after its author, Gretchen Felker-Martin, wrote on social media: “I hope the bullet is okay.”
The publisher ruled that her words were incompatible with the company’s image.
The case highlighted how online expressions can have immediate professional consequences.
Government Warns on Foreign Visas
The State Department also announced measures in response to comments from foreign nationals.
Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau said visas could be revoked for those who glorify or mock the assassination online.
He urged his followers on X to report such posts to begin review proceedings.
The warning underscores the international scope of the case and its diplomatic implications.
