The alert was issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The cans are also identified by the UPC codes: 0 49000-00634 6 (individual can) and 0 49000-02890 4 (12-pack).
A total of 864 12-pack boxes are being recalled, under recall number F-0664-2025.
Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, based in Milwaukee, initiated the recall on March 6.
The FDA classified it as a Class II recall on March 24, indicating the potential for temporary or medically reversible health consequences.
Coca-Cola has not publicly commented on the situation.
A spokesperson for Reyes Coca-Cola stated that the product was pulled because it did not meet the company’s quality standards.
“We are taking this voluntary action because nothing is more important to us than delivering high-quality products,” they said.
The FDA warns that hard or sharp foreign objects in food can cause serious injuries, including cuts and internal perforations.
Dr. Mark Fischer explained that swallowing plastic or metal objects may require surgery to remove.
He also advised seeing a doctor if ingestion is suspected.
