The storms, which included several tornadoes, wreaked havoc in northern Texas, where authorities confirmed at least 11 deaths.
According to Sheriff Ray Sappington, three of the victims were members of the same family, who were found deceased in a house near Valley View.
«We do have five confirmed (dead), but sadly, we think that that number is probably going to go up,» Sappington said.
«There’s nothing left of this house. It’s just a trail of debris left. The devastation is pretty severe,” he added.

The situation in Oklahoma was no less severe. The Claremore police, a city located 28 miles east of Tulsa, announced on social media the total closure of the town.
This was due to storm damage that included fallen trees, downed power lines and impassable roads.
