Trump arrived on Monday just before 9:00 a.m. (1:00 p.m. GMT), dressed in a navy blue suit and a red tie.
Before entering the court, Trump shared a post on Truth Social.
«When I enter that courtroom, I know I will have the love of 200 million Americans behind me, and I will be FIGHTING for the FREEDOM of 325 MILLION AMERICANS!» he wrote.
Early in the morning, the court precinct was busy with law enforcement and the press, some journalists were already doing live broadcasts with the Criminal Court in the background, and others were lining up to try to enter the courtroom.
The New York courtroom was filled with drama

So far on the first day of the trial against Trump, the motion by the former president’s lawyers to recuse the trial was rejected.
The measure was filed by his defense under the argument that there was a conflict of interest due to Ivanka Trump’s work with Democratic politicians.
According to reports from EFE, the judge also admitted evidence, including the famous Access Hollywood video in which Trump makes strong comments about touching any woman.
The content will not be played at the trial but will be addressed as a transcript.
