Donald Trump won Michigan in his recent electoral triumph among the key states in the contest.
After securing Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, he added Michigan to his column of victories.
He achieved this win by improving his 2020 vote totals in the populous counties of Oakland and Kent, consolidating his support across almost the entire state.
With more than 80 percent of the votes counted, Trump led Kamala Harris by a margin of 53-46 percent.
Michigan: Key State and Symbol of the «Blue Wall»

Michigan played a crucial role in the primaries and again in the general election, being one of the most competitive states.
With 15 electoral votes, Michigan stands out as the center of the United States’ automotive industry and as a symbol of the «blue wall» that Trump managed to break in 2016.
In that election, Hillary Clinton lost momentum in Michigan by visiting it only days before the voting.
In 2020, Joe Biden reclaimed the state, making it a critical battleground between Trump and Harris.
The first signs of trouble for the Democrats in Michigan emerged during the primaries, with the growing unpopularity of the war in Gaza.
