According to EFE, the U.S. Congress received on Monday a document that once again fuels controversy surrounding President Donald Trump and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
It is the so-called “birthday book” that Epstein received on his 50th birthday and which includes a drawing allegedly attributed to Trump.
The sketch features text alongside the silhouette of a naked woman, as well as a signature imitating the presidential autograph.
The piece was delivered to the House Oversight Committee by the government itself.

California Democratic Congressman Robert Garcia was the one who released the material on the social network X.
In his post, he claimed the president had previously denied the existence of this document.
Garcia accompanied the revelation with a message full of accusations:
“HERE IT IS: We received Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein, which the president claimed does not exist,” wrote the legislator.

In the text, Garcia added: “Trump talks about a ‘wonderful secret’ they both shared. What is he hiding? Release the files!”
The fictional script, attributed to Trump, presents an exchange of phrases between the then businessman and Epstein.
In one passage, it reads: “There must be more to life than having it all.”
The supposed dialogue continues with references to shared secrets and the idea that both men had “certain things in common.”
Signature and Birthday Message
Hey VP @JDVance, turns out the story isn’t bullshit, and your boss lied about the birthday note. You going to apologize now amirite? https://t.co/HlFO9hHg2t pic.twitter.com/njOuEqwwHx

The note ends with a birthday greeting and the signature “Donald J. Trump.”
The most striking detail is the handwritten autograph which, according to Democrats, closely resembles the presidential signature.
The case has reignited controversy around Trump and his alleged ties to the New York financier.
Jeffrey Epstein, accused of sex trafficking minors, died in prison in 2019 in what was ruled a suicide.
Reactions to the Trump–Epstein Drawing

His circle and the documents he left behind have been the subject of multiple investigations and conspiracy theories.
The revelation of the drawing comes amid weeks of political and media tension about the so-called “Epstein files.”
This archive contains materials linked to Epstein’s ties with powerful figures in global business and politics.
Last summer, The Wall Street Journal previewed part of the drawing’s content.
Donald Trump Responds With Billion-Dollar Lawsuit
After that publication, Trump sued the newspaper, its parent companies, and the journalists who signed the report.
The president accused the outlet of defamation and is demanding at least $10 billion in compensation.
The Trump administration, for its part, reacted immediately to the release of the document.
Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich shared the drawing alongside examples of Trump’s real signatures.
Trump–Epstein Drawing Denied by His Team
In his message, Budowich insisted the document does not match Trump’s authentic signature.
“It’s time for Newscorp to cut the check, that is not his signature. DEFAMATION!” he wrote on social media.
The president’s defense argues that it is a forgery created for political purposes.
The case has polarized public opinion, especially between Republican and Democratic bases.
Critics and Defenders React
For Trump’s critics, the drawing is evidence of a closeness with Epstein that the president has tried to minimize.
For his supporters, however, it is just another attack in the smear campaign against him.
The Department of Justice had announced in July that it would not release further information on the Epstein case.
That decision triggered strong discontent among Trump’s allies, who demand full publication of the files.
Theories and the MAGA Movement
The MAGA movement, which backs the president, promotes theories pointing to influential figures as Epstein’s clients.
Some of these theories have been amplified by Trump himself in his public speeches.
The arrival of the drawing in Congress reignites debates about transparency and accountability.
The Democratic opposition seeks to use the case to question the president’s integrity.
Republican Response and Trump’s Defense
Republicans, however, maintain that this is nothing more than a defamation campaign.
The document adds to a long list of controversies in which Trump appears linked to the Epstein scandal.
The legal battle against media outlets like The Wall Street Journal will mark the coming months.
Meanwhile, Congress will continue reviewing the files it received—promising to keep the controversy alive.
