Violence Against Content Creators
Although it has not been confirmed whether María de Jesús was involved in digital projects, her death comes amid a pattern of violence against influencers and musicians linked to Sinaloa.

Among those named were Markitos Toys, El Conejo Toys, Peso Pluma, and Roberto Tapia.
Since then, at least nine of the individuals mentioned in those narco-messages have been murdered.
