The ship lost power before reaching open waters and hit one of the supports on the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

This caused the bridge to collapse into the Patapsco River and six members of a road repair crew to plummeted to their deaths.

Authorities have announced that they have recovered the body of a fourth body from a construction vehicle.

The Dali is managed by Synergy Marine Group and owned by Grace Ocean Private Ltd., both from Singapore. The Danish shipping giant Maersk rented the Dali.

Synergy and Grace Ocean filed a judicial petition shortly after the collapse seeking to limit their legal liability. This is a routine procedure for cases litigated under U.S. maritime law.

Their joint filing seeks to limit the companies’ liability to approximately $43.6 million, according to The Associated Press.

The ship itself is valued at up to $90 million, and it was owed more than $1.1 million in freight revenues.
