Graham Greene, Canadian actor and one of the most influential voices among Indigenous performers in Hollywood, has died at 73 in Toronto.
According to industry outlet Deadline, his passing occurred on Sunday afternoon at a hospital in the city, where he was accompanied by his wife, Hilary Blackmore.
The news was confirmed by his agent, Michael Greene, who described him in a statement as a man of integrity, values, and ethics, and an artist who will be remembered with admiration and affection.
Although the specific cause of his death has not been disclosed, his representative noted that he had been battling a long illness that had weakened him over time.

Born in 1952 on the Six Nations Reserve in Canada, Graham Greene had a varied working life before dedicating himself fully to acting.
He worked as a draftsman, welder, steelworker, and audio technician for rock bands, until a musician friend encouraged him to try his luck in theater.

That push proved decisive, and he soon discovered his true calling in the performing arts.
His first television appearance came in 1979 in the series The Great Detective, while in 1983 he made his film debut in Running Brave.
