The Contractor Company and HEB Under Scrutiny

Carlos provided cleaning services at the HEB Senderos branch through the company Multiservicios Rocasa S.A. de C.V.

After news of the tragedy spread, the supermarket chain issued an official statement.

“We deeply regret the passing of Mr. Carlos Gurrola, an employee of the cleaning services provider Multiservicios Rocasa S.A. de C.V., and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends,” the company said.

The message was posted on September 19 on HEB’s official X account.

Commitment to the Investigation

HEB confirmed it has remained in constant communication with the contractor company.

The chain reiterated that it will fully cooperate with the authorities.

“We have collaborated with complete transparency and openness with the competent authorities… we hope responsibility can soon be determined,” the company added.
