On January 23rd, at the age of 78, Mexican comedian Polo Polo, whose real name was Leopoldo Roberto García Peláez Benítez, passed away due to heart failure.

Some claimed that the comedian, known for his unique style, had been battling Alzheimer’s for some time.

On the first day of March, it was reported that actress and singer Irma Serrano, known as La Tigresa, had passed away.

She also served as a senator in the Mexican Congress from 1994 to 2000 and died of a heart attack.

Speaking of famous Hispanic actors who passed away this year, one of them was the renowned actor Ignacio López Tarso.

Just a couple of years away from reaching a century of life, López Tarso was a significant figure in the entertainment world.

Although it was known that she had been battling ovarian cancer for several years, the death of Mexican actress Rebecca Jones on March 22nd took many by surprise.

She was married to fellow actor Alejandro Camacho and they had one child.

At just 28, the son of Joan Sebastian and Maribel Guardia passed away from an acute myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrillation.

According to Clarosports, in June, television host Talina Fernández, as well as journalists Nino Canún and Ricardo Rocha, also passed away.

And on September 11, 2023, actor and singer Benito Castro, aged 77, passed away. May they all rest in peace.
