Hopes dwindled for the relatives of the Hispanic couple when officers informed them that two bodies, one of which was wearing clothing matching that of the Peruvian woman, had been found very close to the car.
«The remains of the two individuals were found in a nearby wooded area. The clothing of one of the remains matched that of the missing person, Claudia Peña,» notes the security body in its official report.
The couple had been married for about six months; Claudia was based in Miami, while her husband, apparently for work reasons, lived in New Mexico, traveling every weekend to reunite with his wife.
According to relatives, there were no signs of domestic violence or any crisis in the relationship.
Authorities and newlyweds

The Osceola Sheriff’s Office, however, has not confirmed that the bodies found belong to the couple.
«The remains have not been positively identified, and the medical examiner’s office continues to work to determine the cause of death and identification,» they added.
Since the disappearance and subsequent discovery of little Madeline Soto in the same county, the community has been alert and concerned about the repetitive nature of the cases in recent months.
Some residents conveyed this concern to the sheriff through their Facebook account. «This is worrying; it seems like we’re seeing this type of report too often lately,» writes Dawn Fontanez on Facebook to the authorities.
“Incredible” what is happening in Osceola

The circumstances surrounding the disappearance and the reasons why two individuals may have ended up deceased have not yet been clarified, causing even more fear in the community.
«Incredible, so much of this is happening in Osceola,» writes Theresa Schuster on her Facebook account.
In response to the collective concern, authorities urge everyone to remain calm and to contact the detectives in charge of the investigation.
This can be done by calling (407) 348-2222 if you have any information related to the Hispanic couple or any other similar incidents, states the Osceola Sheriff’s Office.
