A 34-year-old man lost his life after collapsing in a Houston restaurant.

The victim, identified as Jessie Mobley Jr., was dining at KFFO Afro Steakhouse on August 7.

Instead of calling emergency services, the restaurant staff carried the body outside.

Authorities confirmed that no one dialed 911 after the customer collapsed.

The incident came to light when a student from a nearby beauty school found the body.

Andrea Arbelaez Sarrazola reported that Mobley’s body was lying next to his belongings.

Terrified, she noticed ants in his ears and a bruised side.

She immediately called for help, and authorities notified the victim’s family.

Family’s Pain and Demands

Jessie Mobley Jr.’s father and stepmother expressed outrage over what had happened.

“If someone had gotten him help instead of leaving him on the sidewalk, or had called 911 if nothing else…” said Renee Mobley.

According to El Heraldo de México, the family opened a GoFundMe page to cover funeral expenses.

The case sparked debate about the lack of humanity shown by the restaurant.

A Death Still Unexplained

The exact cause of death of Jessie Mobley Jr. has not yet been determined by the medical examiner.

The Houston Police Department stated it will close the investigation if it is confirmed as a natural death.

The victim’s father plans to hire a lawyer once the official results are released.

Meanwhile, the community demands clarity about what happened inside the restaurant.

The Life of Jessie Mobley Jr.

Mobley was about to turn 35 the week after his death.

Since birth he faced major challenges, as he lived with HIV.

In adulthood, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which further complicated his life.

Despite this, his family remembered him as someone fun-loving and full of dreams.

According to Renee, Jessie was seeking positive changes and wanted to have a family.

Now, his aspirations were cut short by an end that could have been avoided, reported El Heraldo de México and The Mirror.
