- ICE arrests under suspicion
- False citation issued
- ICE detains workers
A Hispanic man reported that he was stopped for a supposed traffic violation solely so ICE could arrest his workers—and that he also received a citation that does not match any of his personal information.
Enrique González said the events occurred on Friday, November 28. He was heading to his workplace along with four workers.
He said that state troopers, in six to eight patrol vehicles, followed him from the moment he entered Roosevelt Avenue. His truck’s dashcam recorded the entire incident.
Traffic stop followed by ICE operation
The citation has neither his name nor his information, and does not even match the vehicle. This is what this Hispanic man recounts: 👉 https://t.co/1lnifMsBrv pic.twitter.com/wOqPEK0hvL

He said the patrol car followed him for more than a mile. “At about a mile and a half is where they pulled me over,” he explained.
State police stopped him over an alleged vehicle light issue, according to Univision.

Enrique stated that they detained him for several minutes while checking his license and insurance. During that time, he said, they called ICE officers.
Immigration agents arrived at the scene. Enrique said official vehicles surrounded them from all directions.
He noted that there was nothing they could do to prevent the ICE arrests. ICE arrested the four workers who were with him.
The operation according to Enrique González
“Yes, in the dashcam videos you can see they followed me practically from when I left,” Enrique said.
He confirmed that everything was recorded on his truck.
He explained that the time they kept him waiting was key for immigration agents to arrive. “They practically ambushed us,” he recounted.
He said that six or seven trucks surrounded them completely. He claimed the false traffic stop was just a pretext for ICE to be called.
He explained that they made him waste time while the arrest of his workers was organized. ICE took all four employees.
A citation that does not match

After the ICE arrests, state troopers handed him a supposed traffic citation. Enrique immediately noticed that the ticket was false.
None of the information matched his. “It has nothing to do with me,” he said, showing the document.
He stated that neither the vehicle light issue nor the warning they claimed they were going to give him corresponded to what appeared on the citation.
The citation listed the name Isidro Alexandro Sandoval. Enrique said he does not know this person.
The vehicle described in the infraction is a white 2016 truck. Enrique’s truck is blue and a 2007 Chevrolet.
The date of birth doesn’t match. Nor does the license number. Nor the time of the incident.
Enrique even doubts that the officer’s name on the citation corresponds to the agent who detained him.
Now he does not know what will happen to his four workers after the ICE arrests. Nor does he know how he will deal with a citation that, he insists, was not issued in his name.
