Mexican singer, Valentín Elizalde, lost his life on November 25, 2006, after a performance at the Expo-Fair in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. El Gallo de Oro had finished his concert and got into a black Suburban with his manager, in addition to his cousin, Fausto «Tano» Elizalde, and their driver. Later, they were ambushed by armed men, according to Infobae.

According to various stories, a group of armed men began to shoot at the Mexican singer’s vehicle and he was killed along with his manager. Fausto “Tano” Elizalde survived the attack. Others show how he fell when he died and, of course, the singer’s manager. Another of the shots that shocked fans showed the how many bullet holes were in the singer’s vehicle.

After the tragic incident, people began to suspect Tano Elizalde since, El Gallo de Oro’s cousin’s ex-wife, Marisol Castro, declared that he organized that concert that led to Valentín Elizalde’s death, according to Infobae.
