Airstrike in Beirut: Hezbollah and Israel in Conflict

Israel launched an airstrike on a suburb of Beirut on Friday.

The attack came after Hezbollah fired 140 rockets into northern Israel.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, had promised retaliation against Israel.

The Israeli military stated it was a «targeted strike» in Beirut.

Explosions were heard in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital.

Local media reported that several missiles struck the area known as Dahiyeh.

Hezbollah’s rockets hit several military bases along the border.

Israel reported intercepting some of the missiles fired toward the Golan Heights and Galilee.

Exchanges of fire between Hezbollah and Israel have been almost daily since October 8.

The escalating violence has raised fears of a full-scale war.

In Gaza, the conflict continues to claim lives.

Palestine reported 15 deaths in new Israeli strikes.

Israel insists its attacks target militants, not civilians.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that over 41,000 Palestinians have died since October.

The war has caused massive devastation and displaced 90% of the population in Gaza.
