Mario Guevara’s Statements from La Paz
From Olocuilta, where he was escorted by a migration patrol, Mario spoke with local media and said that although he went through harsh moments, he holds no grudge against the U.S. government:
“They are just following orders.”
“My Land, My Land”
With that phrase, he began a live broadcast through his news channel, still wearing the same clothes he had on when he was arrested. Mario Guevara promised to continue practicing journalism, now from his homeland.
