The La Joya Case

Chamorro remembers an event in the 80s at the La Joya base. During a red alert due to a territorial dispute with Chile, an unknown object appeared over the base.

After being detected as a potential threat, the order was to eliminate it. However, despite attempts, the object seemed to evade the aircraft sent to intercept it.

The event was kept silent for security reasons. Jorge Luis inquires about the reasons for this secrecy.

Julio points out that silence was maintained to avoid messing with daily tasks and to protect information about military skills.
