Tragedy strikes the world of Mexican music as the lead singer of the ‘H Norteña’ group was shot dead alongside his wife.

The incident took place near the municipality of Parral, Chihuahua, a northern state of Mexico, as the victims were traveling in two vehicles.

The tragedy unfolded Sunday afternoon on the Vía Corta to Chihuahua, but what’s worse is that not only the singer and his wife lost their lives, but another person as well, and there are also injuries.

They kill the singer Kevin Amalio Hernández

The tragic aftermath of what appears to be a direct attack against the lead singer of H Norteña resulted in three deaths and three injuries, including minors.

According to reports from ‘Infobae,’ the identified victims are Kevin Amalio Hernández, singer of the group ‘H Norteña,’ and his wife, Marisela Sandoval.

It was also reported that a 17-year-old boy had been shot and taken to the hospital, where he ultimately did not survive.

Among the injured are the mother of the singer’s wife, as well as a 14-year-old teenager and a 4-year-old child.

The attack against the singer of H Norteña

On the afternoon of Sunday, May 5th, local authorities in the vicinity of Parral, Chihuahua, received a report about an attack on two vehicles.

The victims were traveling together in a Chevrolet Malibu car, as well as in a Ford truck.

Upon arrival at the scene of the armed assault, authorities found the Malibu car with several bullet impacts on the front windshield.

Inside, lay the lifeless body of H Norteña singer Kevin Amalio Hernández.

The injured are delicate

After finding the singer dead in the car, the Ford truck was inspected, where they found his wife Marisela, also deceased.

The identities of the injured young individuals have not been disclosed, but it is presumed they could be the couple’s children, and their health condition is critical.

So far, authorities in Chihuahua have not released any information about the perpetrators of the alleged attack, nor the motive behind it.

H Norteña’s new song talks about death

Before being murdered, Kevin Amalio Hernández from H Norteña was about to release his new song «If God Takes Me with Him,» leaving speculation: Did he sense his death?

«If God takes me with Him, you shouldn’t feel fear, I will be protecting you, I will be following your steps, because this love is eternal,» can be heard in the song.

H Norteña was gradually making its way into the Mexican music scene, especially in the state of Chihuahua, where all six members are from.

Additionally, it was reported that the slain singer in 2018 was a candidate for syndic in the municipality of Parral on behalf of the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico.
