According to notivisiongeorgia, the Conyers Police Department confirmed the arrest of Lieutenant Jesús Cadena following a GBI investigation.
Agents found donated goods in his home that were supposed to benefit the police department.
Local police requested GBI involvement to ensure impartiality.
Cadena voluntarily turned himself in after being notified of the arrest warrant.

Concerns about donated items led the CPD to request state assistance.
A report indicated that Cadena had received donations from The Home Depot for department use.
During a search, investigators found goods the lieutenant was allegedly using for himself.
