A Milwaukee man faces charges after killing two brothers in a hit-and-run, according to FOX 6.

Luis Pérez-García has been charged with two counts of felony hit-and-run resulting in death.

He is also charged with operating a vehicle without a valid license causing death.

What did Luis Pérez-García say about the Milwaukee hit-and-run?

According to the complaint, García told police he went to a bar between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 5.

García stated he drank eight 12-ounce cans of Modelo beer and had some food.

He insisted that he wasn’t «drunk» but he was «buzzed» when he left the bar to drive home.

The tragic Milwaukee hit-and-run occurred on Lincoln Avenue, when García hit a car in the bike lane and did not stop.

A witness reported seeing two bodies on the street after hearing a loud crash.

The deceased were identified as brothers Ausberto and Michael Gutiérrez.

Surveillance video and parts of a vehicle helped identify Perez-García’s vehicle, a white Chevrolet Traverse.

Records indicate that García has never had a driver’s license issued by the Wisconsin DOT.
