Despite leaving daily television three and a half years ago, María Celeste has continued to engage actively on social media platforms.
Maria Celeste Hacked

Through these platforms, she has consistently shared aspects of her life and perspectives on current events.
However, her routine was disrupted when she found out that unauthorized individuals had gained access to her accounts.
These intruders were responsible for posting content that was inappropriate and not reflective of the charismatic Puerto Rican journalist’s style.
The presenter took to her Instagram stories to denounce the hacking, specifically the posting of «grotesque and disgusting videos» on her profiles.
Hack discovery

She expressed gratitude to her followers for realizing that the posts were not her own and mentioned she was actively working to regain control of her profiles.
«My Instagram and Facebook fan accounts were hacked by unscrupulous individuals,» the journalist stated.
She further added, «they have been posting grotesque and disgusting videos» on her social media platforms after gaining access to both profiles.
«Fortunately, the content they have published is so diametrically opposed to what I usually share,» commented the former host of ‘Al Rojo Vivo’.
Impact on social media

In a subsequent update, María Celeste expressed her appreciation to her fans for identifying the fraudulent content and for their support.
She observed that this situation helped to «alert my followers instantly that these posts were from impostors pretending to be me.»
«I am currently working on regaining control of my accounts,» she announced in her initial Instagram stories.
Although she has successfully reclaimed her Instagram account, Arrarás’s Facebook page continues to be compromised by the hackers.
Complaint and recognition of support

In a subsequent update, María Celeste informed her followers that her Facebook account was still out of her control.
“Regaining control of my social media has been challenging after both this account and my Facebook fan page were hacked by unscrupulous individuals,” she commented.
“I am grateful to all of you who know me so well that you instantly recognized I would never post inappropriate content,” she expressed.
She mentioned that because those individuals published such content, her followers were quick to report the impersonation.
