Mariana González is going through one of the most meaningful stages of her life as she awaits her daughter alongside Vicente Fernández Jr.
The businesswoman revealed that she is enjoying every moment of her pregnancy and has chosen a calmer lifestyle during these final weeks.
The expected due date is February 17, which led her to reduce travel and professional commitments.
“We want to be here preparing for her arrival and literally in a very calm mode,” she explained.
Vicente Fernández Jr’s Excitement
During an interview on La Mesa Caliente, González spoke about how her husband is experiencing the process. “He is fascinated, he is in love with this,” she said while describing the excitement the singer feels about becoming a father once again.
She also confessed that seeing him happy motivates her: “Honestly, me too, because I see him so excited and it makes me so emotional to see him so happy.” Both have tried to keep this stage serene and focused on their family’s well-being.

The couple will celebrate Christmas and New Year’s in a very intimate way. Mariana González shared that they will spend a few days in Texas and others at her parents’ home.
“No traveling, none of that, everything very calm, not even the beach,” she commented about their holiday plans. Her priority, she said, is staying close to home and avoiding physically demanding activities.
Cravings, Care, and Humor During Pregnancy
Mariana González also shared that her cravings have been unusual. She joked that she hasn’t wanted anything sweet, which surprised her.
“I said, that’s good, and literally now I see tamales and buñuelos and I’m like, good thing the baby craves everything salty,” she said laughing. She added that she has been craving mango, cucumber, and other sour flavors.
She also mentioned that she has taken better care of herself than ever before.
“I’ve behaved very well,” she said when talking about her diet and rest. Her focus has been on maintaining physical and emotional stability ahead of her daughter’s arrival. Doctors recommended avoiding long trips during these final weeks.
A Special Wish for This Christmas
Mariana González closed the conversation with a message full of hope. Her greatest wish, she said, is for her baby girl to arrive healthy.
She emphasized that this is a very long-awaited baby who will be surrounded by love. “The truth is that we are happy,” she said while describing this family moment.
With the birth date drawing closer, González and Fernández Jr. continue preparing their home to welcome the newest member of the Fernández family.
