The tragedy of Marta Pérez

According to accounts from her relatives, 19-year-old Marta Pérez went to the gym where one of the trainers recommended the drink to enhance her physical performance.

Apparently, Marta accepted and consumed the shake, but the consequences were devastating, leading her into a coma.

The doctors who treated her explained that the trainer failed to inform her that the shake contained pistachios, a food to which Marta was allergic.

This intake triggered an anaphylactic shock, resulting in cardiac arrest and plunging her into the coma.

The fight for life and recovery

Marta’s parents quickly rushed her to a hospital, where she received medical attention for the damages she suffered. Currently, she is recovering favorably from her injuries.

On her social media accounts, followed by over 17 thousand people, her loved ones share updates about her condition.

They post videos of Marta recovering step by step, performing everyday actions like eating and holding objects, which excites her family as they see her progress.

«We will continue tirelessly searching for treatments or doctors who can help her. We are convinced she will make it because she carries everyone in her heart,» Marta’s parents wrote on social media.

However, they also shared their difficulties, including the struggle to obtain treatments and hospital renewals.

In an effort to cover the expenses of a surgery that could change Marta’s life, her parents have requested support through their social media channels.
