7 injured and 1 killed in mass shooting on the west side of Detroit

• One killed in mass shooting in Detroit, Michigan.
• At least eight people were injured.
• The police arrested the shooter.

The mass shooting occurred around 2:40 am on Sunday in a house located in the 11600 block of Coyle Street, on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, according to police.

Unfortunately, eight people were wounded by gunfire in the incident and, so far, it has been reported that at least one person was killed. The police did not take long to provide information about the alleged suspect, a neighbor who walked up to the house and opened fire.

Neighbor wounds at least 8 people

According to local outlet, WXYZ, the police stated that the alleged shooter was a neighbor who became enraged when he found a car blocking his driveway. Moments later he began shooting into the air.

At least one person was killed in the shooting

When authorities arrived at the scene, they confirmed that around eight people were injured by bullets that the neighbor had fired and, unfortunately, there was one person who was killed.

According to WXYZ, the investigation is still ongoing to determine what led the suspect to fire his gun into the air and later fire at the house where the party was taking place.
