Meet the eleven RuPaul’s Drag Race México contestants.

They are: Argennis, Margaret Y Ya, Miss Vallarta, Matraka, Cristian Peralta, Lady Kero, Gala Varo, Serena Morena, Vermelha Noir, Regina Voce and Pixie Pixie.

The debut season of Drag Race Mexico will be available in Latin America through MTV and Paramount+.

It premiered on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

Argennis

Argennis is best known as the «Chameleon Queen» and is hailed as Ciudad Juárez’s Best Drag Queen.

She boasts a 10-year career and has been embraced and cheered on by her fellow citizens.

Cristian Peralta

Meet Cristian Peralta!

Hailing from San Pedro, Tlaquepaque, she has 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry.

With three years in the drag world, she has showcased her talents as a comedian, dancer, makeup artist and impersonator, touring all across Mexico.

Peralta has a total of 11,600 followers on Instagram.

Drag Race México contestants: Margaret Y Ya

Margaret Y Ya is the sweet and sassy Gemini queen from Mexico City.

A pop star on stage and a force to be reckoned with on social media, she is ready to capture the hearts of the Drag Race fans.

Margaret is one of the most popular contestants on this season of Drag Race.

Currently, she has a total of 128,000 followers on Instagram.

Miss Vallarta

Miss Vallarta hails from the Mexican coastal town of Puerto Vallarta.

The popular drag queen proudly wears the colors of Mexico on her skin.

Currently, Miss Vallarta has a total of 11,200 followers on Instagram.

Matraka is also among the Drag Race Mexico contestants

Hailing from Guanajuato, Matraka is a visual artist, dancer and actress.

Her art is inspired by Latin American folklore and evokes strong feelings of nostalgia.

This is her first time competing on Drag Race.

Lady Kero

Lady Kero possesses a vibrant spirit and a heart of steel.

Born and raised in Oaxaca, she claims that the history, culture and traditions of her hometown inspired her to create her drag persona.

She has «mezcal in her blood, pitaya lips, and a heart of cheese,» a true delicacy for Mexico and the world.

Drag Race Mexico contestants: Gala Varo

Gala Vero is a dangerous lady — queen of the air, fire and heart.

Hailing from Morelia, Michoacán, she has over 15 years of experience as a performer in Mexico.

It’s been five years since she made her first appearance in the drag world.

Currently, Varo has a total of 104,000 followers on Instagram, making her one of the most followed Drag Race Mexico contestants on the social network.

Serena Morena

Serena Morena is a drag icon in the Bajío region of Mexico.

Subtle but impactful, this queen has seven years of stage experience and was crowned the winner of «The Best» competition.

She earned her the title of best performer in her hometown, Aguascalientes.

Vermelha Noir

From Querétaro, Vermelha comes to prove that drag art thrives beyond nightlife.

She loves Mexican culture and art.

Drag Race México contestants: Regina Voce

Regina Voce is a Mexican actress, singer, dancer, vocal coach and makeup artist with over 30 years in the entertainment industry.

Voce is also known for her roles in productions like Cirque Du Soleil, Rock of Ages, Les Misérables and Queen of the Universe, among others.

She will be another contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race México.

Pixie Pixie

Pixie Pixie is the queen of black and white, hailing from Mexico City with over 10 years of experience in the drag scene.

Pixie Pixie is influenced by gothic culture, conceptual fashion and Mexican surrealism.
