According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Meijer has announced a Meijer children’s pajamas recall due to a potential burn hazard.

The measure affects one-piece footed sleepwear sold under the MCS and Lullaby Lane brands.

The recalled models correspond to sizes 12, 18, and 24 months.

The notice was published on Thursday, February 19, on the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website.

According to the official notification, the garments violate mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.

These regulations are designed to protect young children from death and serious burn injuries associated with clothing ignition.

The regulations were created to protect minors from small open flame sources.

These include matches, lighters, candles, fireplace embers, stoves, and space heaters.

To comply with the law, children’s sleepwear must pass specific flammability tests.

In this case, the garments do not meet those requirements, prompting the Meijer children’s pajamas recall.
