Violence in Mexico continues to escalate, with even artists now suffering the consequences of the feared presence of organized crime in the country.
In a grim chapter that darkens the northern music scene, members of the renowned group «Rivales del Norte» fell victim to a brutal murder.
After being abducted following a party in the town of Ojos Negros, located in the municipality of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

The macabre discovery took place on a lonely dirt road leading to Rancho San Juan, in the Real del Castillo district of Mexico.
Four men were found dead, including three musicians identified as Alan Herrera Beltrán, Cesáreo Niebla, and Patricio Niebla.
A fourth man, as yet unidentified and purportedly present at the party on that fateful Thursday, remains missing.
It is worth mentioning that the Mexican northern group had been hired for a party, little did they know it would be the musicians’ final performance.
Members of Rivales del Norte are murdered

The murder of these three musicians comes just weeks after Jesús Cárdenas, better known as ‘Chuy’ Montana, was killed in the city of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
Days later, the Attorney General of Baja California (FGE) revealed that the singer was murdered for singing «sentimental» songs that did not sit well with one of his attackers.
Police reports reveal chilling details, as the bodies showed clear signs of torture.
Even more disturbingly, three of them were found with hoods over their heads, adding a level of violence that has shocked the music community and society at large.

The State Attorney General, María Elena Andrade Ramírez, has confirmed the commencement of a thorough investigation into these homicides.
She assured that the lines of investigation are already mapped out, anticipating a precise clarification of this event that has shaken the region.
«Due to some publications in the media, it is reported that these individuals were part of a musical group, so, as authorities, our duty is to conduct a thorough investigation,» she begins.
«And to exhaust all lines of investigation, without excluding those related to the relationships stemming from their work activity,» the attorney general added.
Who were the Rivales del Norte?

«Our forensic team has already collected all the necessary evidence on the ground, and we are working swiftly because we will not allow impunity or violence to prevail,» expressed Andrade Ramírez.
The head of the FGE revealed that the lifeless bodies were discovered thanks to a report to the Ensenada municipal corporation.
It is worth mentioning that the «Rivales del Norte» were known for their talent and commitment to northern music, and the news of their brutal fate has left an indelible void in the artistic scene.
In the face of this sad situation, the music community, friends, and family express their dismay at the terrible tragedy, according to El Heraldo de México.
Dismay over murder in Mexico

Social media was flooded with images of the missing musicians before their bodies were found.
Several «Wanted» posters depicting the members of the musical group who were kidnapped after a performance could be seen.
Some users took to social media to express their outrage at the wave of crimes currently being experienced in Mexico at the hands of organized crime.
