A total of 5,555 people will participate in early voting for Mexico’s unprecedented Judicial Branch elections, the National Electoral Institute (INE) announced this Friday.
This initiative aims to ensure the inclusion of people with physical disabilities and their caregivers in the electoral process scheduled for June 1.
According to the INE’s statement, among the approved registrations, 3,689 correspond to voters who, due to health or mobility reasons, cannot personally attend a polling station, while 1,812 are primary caregivers who will also exercise their right to vote.
In terms of gender, the early voting registry is composed of 3,558 women and 1,997 men, showing a female majority among registered voters.

The five states with the highest number of approved applications in the Judicial elections are:

Aguascalientes: 293 registrations

Nuevo León: 289 registrations
To be eligible for the ‘Early Voting Nominal List,’ applicants had to obtain their voter ID between January 1, 2018, and February 25, 2025.
As of the latest update, the INE had issued voter IDs to 14,359 individuals — 8,424 women and 5,935 men — who met the requirements to participate in this special voting mechanism.
