At the age of 68, actor and musician Miguel Vigil dies as a result of a heart attack. He is remembered for appearing in the series Cuéntame cómo pasó.

The Spanish actor also had a prominent role in Ministerio del tiempo and La que se avecina.

He rose to fame for being part of the musical band Academia Palanca. Family and friends expressed their condolences after his passing.

According to information from the AS portal, Javier Batanero and Antonio Sánchez were with Miguel Vigil at Academia Palanca.

After 20 years of being together, and without ever knowing the reasons, the musical band came to an end.

Shortly after, Miguel began his solo career and made cameos in different television series.

At the same time, he worked as a writer, creating sketches and monologues for TV, radio and theater.

In 2024, Miguel Vigil published the book Todos los caminos lleva aroma without imagining that it would be his last.

It is worth noting that, in total, he published ten novels, according to information from the El Diario portal.

«An exceptional colleague, a great friend… wherever you are, we will always remember you,» reads one of the many farewell messages in his honour.

On social media, several of his admirers took the opportunity to bid him farewell.

For its part, the La Sexta portal has echoed what was said about Miguel Vigil on its own website.

Here they point out that, after realizing that he did not like studying or working, he decided to become artist.

Discovering that he could excel in several artistic disciplines inspired him to ‘be a little bit of everything.’

Miguel died at his home located in the municipality of Ronda in the province of Malaga, in Spain.
