Florida woman arrested for beating her boyfriend with a Christmas tree
Christmas for a man was devastating after a strong fight with his girlfriend who mercilessly hit him with a festive pine tree.

In an apparent outburst of anger, 20-year-old Miracle Rivera grabbed her Christmas tree and repeatedly hit her boyfriend with it, Pinellas County authorities reported.
Largo Police began investigating after receiving a call for help at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23.
The officers went to a home in St. Petersburg, Florida.

When they arrived at the scene a woman and a 24-year-old man,who later identified himself as the suspect’s boyfriend were still arguing.
The fight began when Rivera confronted her partner about alleged infidelity.
The arrest report indicates the two exchanged words before he left the scene.
The man said he walked into the living room and Rivera followed him.

That’s when Miracle Rivera walked into the living room, picked up the Christmas tree and hit him repeatedly while he lay on the couch, according to the affidavit.
In their preliminary report, the authorities did not detail the size of the tree or whether it was real or artificial. It is only specified that they did not seize any other weapon at the scene.
Largo Police officers immediately arrested 20-year-old Miracle Rivera.
Both the victim and Rivera were taken to police headquarters and she was charged with domestic assault.
It was all a fight over cheating

Rivera’s boyfriend did not have life-threatening injuries.
According to the police report, the blows caused «the victim to suffer numerous minor scratches to much of his upper body and arms.»
Rivera was arrested and, when questioned by police, denied assaulting her boyfriend.
After hearing both versions of what happened, the officers took Rivera to the Pinellas County Jail. According to prison records, Rivera only spent a few hours in its facilities.
Miracle Rivera was released

Rivera was released at 3:40 p.m. on Christmas Day after posting bail.
The officers wrote in their file that Rivera and her victim had been in a relationship for two years, they had lived together and this was the first altercation that had warranted police intervention.
Police call on victims of domestic violence not to remain silent, to seek help from the authorities and to report any abuse to authorities.
