Luis Quintero never imagined that in an instant, Asherey Ryan, who was 8½ months pregnant, and their son, one-year-old Alonzo, would be the last of their lives. An ICU nurse killed them in a horrifying crash, according to the Daily Mail.
This story has outraged the public because Ryan was just a few days away from giving birth and the baby was literally ripped from her womb, by a woman who was speeding through Los Angeles County, California at over 90 miles per hour.
WHAT HAPPENED?

The alleged perpetrator is an ICU nurse could face several years in prison. In the midst of it all, the father of the dead one-year-old shares is intense feelings at the loss of his son as well as his ex and her boyfriend and their unborn child.
Asherey Ryan, who was eight months pregnant, died in the accident, along with her young son, her boyfriend Reynold Lester, and her unborn baby. The father of toddler said what he wants most right now after the death of his little Alonzo.
WHAT DOES LUIS QUINTERO ASK?

Alonzo’s dad said the following: “He was full of joy, very excited. I loved when he gripped his hands, when he would kick his legs from excitement… now I’ll never see him again.” He said he wants Nicole Linton, who prosecutors say was involved in 13 previous accidents, to face justice.

HOW DID THE ACCIDENT HAPPEN?

According to initial investigations, the nurse hit the vehicle and split it in two. Two other women whose identity is not known also died in the accident, along with Ryan, her boyfriend and her unborn baby.
Linton, 37, currently faces six murder charges, including one for the death of the unborn baby. Alonzo’s body was found a few feet from the accident. Security cameras recorded the moment when the nurse, for unknown reasons, ran a red light. Filed Under: Pregnant Shock Nurse
RAISING FUNDS

Through GoFundMe, the family of the victims are trying to raise funds. So far they have raised more than $163,000 and it is mostly for funeral expenses. Everything indicates that Linton did not have alcohol in her blood or any illegal substance, however, the investigations will continue.
AMN Healthcare declined to say what kind of background check was done when she was first given a job. «At this time, we are unable to comment on an active criminal investigation.
