According to El Sol de Durango, the case of Paloma Nicole, a 14-year-old teenager, has caused deep outrage in Durango and across Mexico.

The young girl reportedly died from complications stemming from a cosmetic surgery that, according to her father, was performed without his consent.

The father, identified as Carlos Said, described how he discovered the truth when he opened his daughter’s coffin.

“I chose to clear the room… we opened the coffin and that’s when we saw she had implants,” he publicly denounced.

Initial Version About Covid and Hospitalization

The father’s testimony has brought to light a story filled with contradictions and serious accusations against the girl’s mother.

He said it all began on Thursday, September 11, when he received a call from Paloma Nicole’s school.

They told him the teenager was not feeling well and recommended she take a Covid-19 test.

The result was positive, which triggered a chain of events that, according to the initial version, explained the deterioration of her health.

Critical Days and Medical Complications

Paloma’s mother told the father that she would take the girl to the mountains for a few days.

“She told me they were going to be there three or four days, and that if I called I shouldn’t worry, that nothing was wrong,” recalled Carlos Said.

Believing she was out of the city, he did not attempt to contact her until Monday.

That day, he received a desperate call informing him that Paloma was in critical condition at a hospital.

Contradictions in Paloma Nicole’s Case

When he arrived, he found her intubated and in an induced coma, with the explanation that she had suffered a respiratory arrest due to Covid complications.

Doctors told him that the supposed virus had caused brain inflammation in the teenager.

For several days, she remained in critical condition, undergoing deep airway cleanings due to respiratory issues.

On Friday, September 19, doctors attempted to extubate her after noticing slight reflexes, but that same night her condition worsened.

Brain Death and Suspicious Signs

Shortly after, an electrocardiogram confirmed brain death.

In the midst of his grief, the father began noticing strange details on his daughter’s body.

“I saw a surgical bra on her side, and I thought it was very strange because she shouldn’t have had one,” he declared.

The family immediately received the death certificate and organized the funeral.

Discovery of Implants at Paloma Nicole’s Funeral

It was at that moment, during the wake, when the truth came to light.

Carlos Said decided to examine his daughter’s body along with close relatives.

“We removed everything to be able to check her… that’s when we saw she had implants,” he explained.

The discovery led him to file a formal complaint with the Durango State Attorney General’s Office.

Durango Prosecutor’s Investigation

The teenager’s body was handed over to the family, but the official autopsy results are not yet complete.

Authorities said the findings could take between 15 and 20 days to be available.
