Recently, he revealed that his daughter, Aneliz Aguilar Álvarez, is jealous of her sister Ángela because of Nodal.

In recent days, Aneliz expressed her anger to Pepe Aguilar over a peculiar situation.

In an interview, Pepe Aguilar assured that his latest single, Cuídamela bien, caused great discomfort for Aneliz.

He explained that it’s a melody a father can sing to his daughter when she is about to get married.

«She got jealous over the song,» said the singer, composer, producer, and businessman on Despierta América.

Regarding the complaint from his daughter, Pepe noted: «She said, ‘Hey, how come you say ‘you took the best woman,’ what about me?’”

However, Pepe Aguilar justified it to Aneliz by emphasizing that it wasn’t a song he had written and that he was only the performer.

“I told her: ‘I didn’t write it, I’m just singing it. I love you just the same,’” expressed the son of Antonio Aguilar.

Finally, the 56-year-old artist pointed out that, as a father, he doesn’t have favorites among his children.

“As a parent, you know this perfectly well, and I’ll say it here: you love your children equally, but each one is different,” he concluded.

It’s worth mentioning that this song sparked various controversies.

Some of the lyrics say: “Because for outlaws, son, this isn’t the place” or “If you love her, don’t change her because she’s perfect as she is.”

Pepe Aguilar said that all his family members, including Aneliz, Ángela, and Nodal, were aware of the song.
